Design & UX

Let’s face it, no matter how good the programming or coding of a project is, design still plays an important factor in a project’s success, especially on the mobile platform, which throws up issues such as screen sizes and limited real estate to work with. But then again, a superbly designed application can be overwhelming and such designs should only stay in the art museums, what you need is proper User Experience, Smooth and Logical Flows between screens and easy on the eyes type design.
Once we have sat down and discussed at length with our clients, we start the process of wireframing and sketching out designs and frames, this weeds out lousy user flow and allows for less mis-communication with clients. By the way, all our projects have a dedicated project manager who does not have technical skills in programming or designing, allowing them to concentrate on bringing the project to a level that is of utmost quality.
Development
3. we do
We are an experienced team, and most importantly, we have engineers who love their job, we practically have to warn them to go back home at the end of every working day, and weekend. Our developers are always on the cutting edge of technology and they keep themselves updated with new technology by reading tech blogs and meddling with new technology.
It is not a “just develop it” mindset that we have in Replaid, but the “how can we make it better, faster, nicer”!
QA/Testing

When buying a car, you test drive. When shopping for furniture, you try it out, so when you have an application, you need to test it out too. Replaid takes QA testing seriously, after all some of Replaid’s key members were previously in QA testing for LucasFilm Singapore.
To us, testing is not just sniffing for bugs, but also to test it from a consumer/user point of view to see if everything makes sense and if anything needs to be changed for the better. Even though wireframes are done in the design stage, there are times when changes to the flows are required in this stage, and even if it takes a lot more work to complete it, we will do it, after all, our reputation is on the line.
Project Management

We have a small team of highly trained organised project managers ready to say “NO” or “CHANGE” to our design and development teams at anytime. It is important to us that the project manager is not biased and so all project managers do not have actual technical skills in design or development, okay, they may have a little, but not so much so that they will side the designers or developers.
Each project is started with the project manager coming up with a 15-20 page project charter and all details of the project is then tracked with the project charter. The project charter is the holy grail of managing our projects and sometimes we are amazed by it too.
Deployment and Maintenance

Deploying and launching your application is a delicate process, we like to compare it to birth. After full beta testing of your app project, we will get the application deployed onto the marketplace where it can now truly take on a life of its own! We will also help you with updates if required as users provide feedback.
